Description: Designed by Robert Dudley Best in 1930, the Bestlite BL1 table lamp is an iconic Bauhaus-inspired lamp with a rotatable and adjustable swan-neck arm and movable shade. It was famously chosen by Winston Churchill for his Whitehall desk. This example was made by Best & Lloyd, the original maker of the lamp and comes in red enameled metal, an option that is no longer in production.
